After you have logged on as a registered user, there will be another menu off this one named 'Lane Side Project Downloads' and selecting this allows the download of the Lane Side database spreadsheet plus photographs files.

This project is the fourth in the series and was completed in August 2014 and updated in March 2015 to bring the data up-to-date as of February 2015. It is a new survey designed to locate all known MIs (Memorial Inscriptions), photograph and transcribe their contents plus map all known burials onto a spreadsheet plan.

Thank you so much for the information you have made available through this website. It has helped me to find the grave of my great-grandparents.
I am looking forward to visiting the area as soon as I am able.

Thanks Susan for this correction, the MI was misread but the burial book data correct. I have now make the changes and uploaded a new v2.2 to the downloads page.

location 608. You have Ivor Thornton being aged 35 when he died that is wrong because he was 55. I am his wife Susan Thornton.

Hi Gill,
After you have logged on, if you move your mouse cursor to hover over the 'Kirkheaton Laneside Cemetery' menu entry you will see to the right of this a new menu item 'Laneside Survey Downloads' which gives you access to the data.

Hope this helps,

Hi there. Where do i find the data?
#2 Richard Horton 2015-04-17 20:05
This is a function of linked Excel worksheets. The plan sheets will only show correct locations if the Burial Record sheets are unsorted. It is possible to save sorted sheets and use the Spreadsheet# column to reference an unsorted Plan copy. This Spreadsheet# column is also useful to return a shorted sheet to its original order.
