Rowley Hill Wesleyan Methodist Chapel - Lepton

The church was designed by Huddersfield Architect Mr J G Wilson.  The stone laying ceremony was held on Saturday 14th August 1886 and an opening ceremony was performed on 5th February 1887; the final cost of the building being £465.

A Sunday School was subsequently built at the rear of the church and opened on 15th February 1913.

In the mid 1980s the church became a joint Methodist/Anglican church but closed shortly afterwards.  The buildings were advertised for sale in 1990 for conversion into private dwellings.
